10. 1 Kings/2 Chronicles

Judah and Israel Split

The books of 1 Kings and 2 Chronicles cover the same history from different points of view. David’s son Solomon followed him as the next king of Israel. God blessed him with wisdom and wealth. 1 Kings 8 shows his humility during his early reign. By chapter 11, his focus was not on God but on women and wealth. In 931 B.C., the kingdom split into Israel and Judah.                                                                                      For your convenienceBible online                                            For your convenienceBible online         1 Kings                                                                                        2 Chronicles
