30. Job Pt.2

Job’s humility

Job’s humility was evident in the later part of this book. After Elihu, the youngest scolded Job and his friends for their lack of faith, Job was confronted by God speaking from a whirlwind.                                                                                                                                                                                       For your convenienceBible online

A note from your Bible study mentor –

A big congratulation to you!! You are at the halfway point of this study of the Bible. Take a minute to think about all you’ve learned, how far you have come on this journey to gain a fundamental knowledge of the Bible. You have accomplished much.

Psalms are an excellent way to learn how to communicate with God. King David, who wrote many of the Psalms, speaks from his heart. He is a real human with real struggles. His enemies might be real people, but we have enemies of our souls. Doubts, fears, anger, our sinful nature, conflicts with people, hopes crushed, etc. We can learn from David to go to God, to write our feelings or simply speak to God about what is bothering us. There are no secrets with God. He already knows. We are safe with Him.
