The True Shepherd
In the second part of the Gospel of John, Jesus devoted time to explain how He was the true, good shepherd who cared for His sheep. This close relationship would mark the difference between His disciples and all other disciples They would be so like Him that they would be treated as He was, but they were not to worry for He promised them an abundant life with the Holy Spirit being their teacher when He was gone.
