32. Psalms Pt.2

Book 2  –  Psalms 42-72

In Psalms Book 2 the first nine psalms of this book are written by worship leaders for Asaph and Korah.  The next fifteen are written by David plus Psalms 68, 69, and 70. Anonymous authors wrote Psalms 66, 67, and 71.  Solomon wrote Psalm 72, but it is considered David’s words when he was near death. For your convenienceBible online.

A note from your Bible study mentor –

A good portion of the third book of Psalms deals with Israel’s history, downfall, and captivity.

Who is the happy person? What is God like? Is David always happy? Does he suffer at times from dark, despondent thoughts like most people?
